HELLAS CONTINUES GROWTH IN ARIZONA WITH ADAM TURNER

April 10, 2018

Chandler, AZ (April 10, 2018) – Hellas Construction has hired Adam Turner to serve as business development manager in Arizona. Turner learned how important field construction is to a football team while working for 17 years for the Arizona Cardinals and will now be educating schools and universities on the importance of quality, customer service, maintenance, and long-term durability when building or upgrading their sports facilities.

“I knew of Hellas, having been in sports and having seen their work at Northern Arizona University. I am also originally from the Dallas area and a Cowboys fan, so when I learned of the partnerships that Hellas had with the Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans, and Miami Dolphins, I knew it must be a great company and a great brand,” Turner said.

He was involved in the process of putting together the stadium plans and financing plans while working for the Cardinals. He was also an integral part of building relationships and networking for corporate sales of the suites at the University of Phoenix, home of the Arizona Cardinals, which helped the overall financials of the organization. After retiring from the Cardinals, he worked with other sports organizations and also in the financial sector assisting with business development. He sees the relationships and experience developed through the years as a perfect fit for the sports construction industry. His first few weeks have been busy, but very exciting.

Turner works with sports organizations in the state, currently serving as President of the National Football Foundation’s Valley of the Sun Chapter and on the board of directors for Playworks, a local charity that helps schools and districts make the most of recess through staffing, consultation, development, and resources, while teaching kids safety, engagement, and empowerment. He is also on the board of the Arizona Sports & Entertainment Commission, the Chandler Education Foundation, and the ICAN Chandler Foundation. He is a part of the Perry High School Booster Club and a member of the Arizona Business Leadership Association and the Fiesta Bowl committee.

“I love sports and I loved being involved in helping organizations get what they need to keep kids active and playing the sports they love. Hellas is making sure that kids play on the safest surfaces possible. All their products are developed with kid’s safety in mind. I want to help every school in Arizona get the sports surfaces they need,” Turner said. “With help from Hellas, I am going to make that a reality.”
