SENIOR MOVEMENT GETS REAL IN VICTORIA ISD FOR DIPLOMAS

Victoria, TX (June 30, 2020) – From virtual to reality Victoria ISD welcomed their seniors at Memorial Stadium as graduates of East and West high schools received diplomas amongst their fellow students, faculty and family. Victoria East Senior Kallie McLeod helped spearhead the change from a virtual graduation to a real outdoors graduation spread out over four days this past week. The students christened their new field, while practicing social distancing due to the coronavirus pandemic. Hellas Construction recently installed Matrix Helix™ synthetic turf and ecotherm™ infill at Victoria ISD's multipurpose stadium. Victoria East and Victoria West compete at this classic Victoria, Texas stadium.
