HELLAS SPORTS LIGHTING DIVISION SHINES AT MIAMI OPEN TENNIS TOURNAMENT

(February 17, 2022) – Hellas Construction Lighting Division holds center court at the iconic Miami Open Tennis Tournament at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Crews from Hellas’ Sports Lighting Division worked with Miami Open and Ion Electric to install professional tennis light poles that house Ephesus 1,000-watt Stadium Pro fixtures.

Foundations for the lighting were installed underneath the football playing field in 2018 with Hellas working as part of a team of contractors to outfit features within the venue to accommodate a variety of events including the Miami Open Tennis Tournament.

Hellas crews traveled to Miami in January to build out the lighting features and this one-of-a-kind transformation. The Miami Open Tournament runs from March 21, 2022, through April 3, 2022. Once the event is complete, Hellas crews will return to remove and store the lighting fixtures for future use.

From tennis to turf, Hellas is the sports contractor of choice, an official partner of the Miami Dolphins and proud manufacturer/installer of three turf areas at the Baptist Health Training Complex in 2021.
